Shooting Camps
Ian Stacker conducts Shooting Camps each school holiday period.
Players who attend the shooting camps each receive an edited video of their shooting technique along with instruction on how to train to be an elite level shooter.
The camp focus on the basics of developing a good shooting techniques. it helps identify technical issues and set the foundation for a good technique.
We also include more advanced techniques like 3 point shooting, step backs, advanced lay ups and other individual offensive moves to create a shot.
Camps are held between 10am - 3pm

Master Coach Sessions 2024
Ian Stacker is one of Australia’s most experienced coaches having coached at most levels of the game over a 30 year plus career. The Master Coach sessions are an opportunity for coaches to learn from the Basketball Australia Accredited Master Coach.
The 2019 sessions are to be held in June at Templestowe College, Cypress, Ave, Templestowe Lower. All sessions run from 7pm-9pm. The teaching format is in a classroom utilising power point, video, whiteboard and participant interaction. The schedule is as follows;

1996 Olympic Games
In this clip Tony Ronaldson hits a 3 and is fouled to put Australia into the semifinals of the 1996 Olympic Games.
This was only the second time the Australian men's team had made the top four of a major international tournament. The Boomers made the final four for the first time at 1988 Olympic Games.

1997 World Championships for Young Men
Aaron Trahair hits the game winning three pointer in the final second of the semi final of the 1997 World Championships for Young Men.
The win put the team into the Gold Medal game where they went on to win Australia's first men's gold medal in a major international tournament.
